– This is a workout specifically designed to address anxiety and depression. Yoga can be incredibly helpful for this when it focuses on the following: (1) postures that relax that body, (2) slow, controlled breathing to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, and (3) promote body awareness. This routine does all of that and more, featuring the best yoga postures and stretches for relieving stress, promoting relaxation, and getting to the root causes of anxiety and depression. As you move through these postures, be sure to focus on your breathing and body awareness – that is where yoga can be most helpful in terms of anxiety & depression! Use this routine as often as you’d like (daily is fine!)
